Vertical Filing Cabinet

Vertical filing cabinets, manufactured by us, are robust and practical and are built from durable components to withstand frequent use.

All drawers are mounted on double extension ball bearing slides which are smooth and easy to operate.

The drawers extend fully for convenient access to the whole drawer.

The cabinets are provided in three drawer widths to accommodate legal / foolscap, A4 and letter size files.

The vertical filing cabinet has been tested for strength, durability, stability and function to Australian Standard AS 5079.2 and to British Standards BS EN 14073 – 2 / 3, BS EN 14074 and BS 4875 – 7.

  • Anti rebound mechanism prevents drawer from coming out again after it is pushed in.
  • Legal/Foolscap vertical filing cabinet can also accommodate A4 and Letter size files with the incorporation of a cradle.
  • Security bar can be provided for each cabinet for additional protection.
  • Central cam lock controlling all drawers.
  • Core removable locks can be provided on request.
  • Master keys can be supplied for locks.
  • Locks have 1,000 / 3,000 combinations.
  • PVC or formed label holder for each drawer can be supplied on request.
  • Vertical filing cabinets are packed in completely knocked down condition.
  • Cabinets can also be 100% factory built and shipped fully assembled.
  • Thicker gauges of steel can be offered.
  • Fastener free assembly ensures quick assembly without the use of screws or rivets.
